PromoDocket

Newsletter swaps and promos across every pen name.

Connecting to saved data…

Nothing is marked done for you. Tick the box when you have actually sent, and anything past its date that is not ticked stays under Possible Overdue until you tick it or remove it. Send dates are days you owe a newsletter send. On Bookclicker that is a Solo (an email about that one book), a Feature (the book gets a prominent spot in your email alongside a few others), or a Mention (a short line and link); the placement shows on each item. Partner send dates are days another author sends for you. Promos that are open right now sit under Still Running, in order of your share date, until their end date passes; a promo that has not started yet shows only through your share date for it. Certified Mail is BookFunnel's ARC and review-copy delivery: each campaign shows as dated tasks for the day it goes out, the reminder day, the follow-up day, and the day the download links stop working, with the recipient, viewed, and downloaded counts on each.

Send more than once (extra send dates)

Each extra date becomes its own row on your list, with its own tick and its own Calendar button. It carries this item's book, link, cover, and blurb. Nothing is added unless a date appears in the list below.

Every formore sends after My date
Their book or promo details (cover, share link, blurb)

What gets attached (history)

Add to calendar

Pick your calendar. The event opens there with the dates and all the details filled in; you save it on that side.

Calendar file: items on this page

Pick the file for your calendar. The .ics version carries a stable ID per event, so importing it again after a refresh updates the same events; a .csv import adds new copies each time, so import it once or delete the old ones first.

Google Calendar: Settings → Import & export → Import, choose the file and the calendar to add it to. Outlook: File → Open & Export → Import/Export. Apple Calendar: unzip, then double-click the .ics file.

Check your accounts

The PromoDocket extension in Chrome does the reading, on the sites where you are already signed in. Each sync reads who is signed in, updates only that account, and stamps it with the time. For another account, sign out, sign in to the next one, and sync again. Anything new lands under New on your accounts for you to add or ignore.

Step 1. In this Chrome, sign in to the Bookclicker, BookFunnel, or StoryOrigin account you want read, the way you always do.

Step 2. Click the PromoDocket icon in Chrome's toolbar, choose the author, and click Sync for each site (or Sync all three). The extension opens a window and reads the pages one at a time; you can watch it work. When it finishes, this page updates on its own.

A sync runs only when you start one. It reads one site at a time, one page at a time, with a pause between pages like a person reading, and it stops and tells you if a site shows a sign-in page or an error. It never sees or stores your passwords.
